Mircoreactor for fabricating gold nano particle

Gold nanoparticles have unique property. So, it is expected that they are applied to many scientific fields. Optical properties of gold nanoparticle are strongly dependent on its particle size and distribution. In our research, we are aiming to fabricate gold nanoparticles with uniform diameter by using microreactor which can control mixing condition and reaction temperature. Because microreactor can control minute flow volume and have high efficiency in heat exchange, it can control mixing condition and reaction temperature precisely. Our microreactor mixes two solutions by pulsed mixing method. In this method, mixing speed can be controlled by changing switching frequency of applied voltage to micropumps.
