Gold Nanoparticle Synthesis using High-Speed Pulsed Mixing Microfluidic System


We synthesize uniform-sized gold nanoparticles by using high-speed pulsed mixing. The properties of gold nanoparticles change greatly depending on their size. Therefore, a synthesis of gold nanoparticles which can control their size and size distribution has been needed. In this reserch, we fabricated the high-speed mixing microfluidic device using Cross-shaped pulsed mixing and synthesized gold nanoparticles using this device. By these experiments, we will clarify the high-speed mixing effect and find the optimum condition for the synthesis of uniform-sized gold nanoparticle with the target diameter.
