Gold nanoparticles have a feature to enhance electrical field, and it will be applied to high-sensitive sensing by surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) . Especially, gold triangular nanoplates have strong effect of enhancement which may enable us to detect single molecule. However it is difficult to synthesize triangular nanoplates efficiently. So I will separate triangular nanoplates from mixture of sphere and triangular nanoparticles by electrophoresis. In this method, I will take advantage of difference of terminal velocity between sphere and triangular nanoparticles.
