Ionic liquids electrospray thruster

We have developed Ionic liquids electrospray thruster (ILEST) for a new thruster which can be mounted on nanosatellite. In ILEST, ionic liquids are used for propellant. ILEST obtains thrust when it is applied voltage and releases ions. To fabricate two-stage electrodes for getting adequate and stable thrust, we have fabricated two-stage electrodes on both sides of glass substrate and silicon emitter, assemble these and conducted experiments of ion emission.
